According to the notification issued recently by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department of Punjab, the government of Punjab will advertise and announce 3,000 nursing jobs for hospitals across Punjab province.
This initiative is basically to fill the vacant seats in many hospitals in the Punjab. Furthermore, hospitals are facing a shortage of nursing staff. So, the Govt. of Punjab which is actively playing its role in uplifting the standard of the healthcare sector, has decided to announce 3,000 nurses jobs.
The Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department has written a letter to the name of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission with a subject that reads as “Recruitment of 3,000 (Three Thousand) Nurse Female (BS-16) on a regular basis.”
However, keep in mind, that it is still a proposal that has been moved to the Secretary, PPSC. Now, PPSC will approve and announce these female nurses’ BS-16 jobs.
In addition to the above, these jobs are for female nurses only, on a regular basis. For male nurses, seats will be announced separately.
Notification for the 3,000 Nursing Jobs
The nurses who can apply for these jobs should be BSN degree holders with proper PNC certificates. Furthermore, those nurses who will have better marks and experience than competitors will be given preference.
Also, nurses who have graduated from the Public Sector Nursing Colleges will have an extra edge in these recruitments. Therefore, all the BSN graduates who are having BSN degree should wait for the proper advertisement of these jobs by the Govt. of Punjab and then apply against the vacant seats.
